Must Calvinists love that some are Damned?

Filed under: Calvinism,Nature of God,Problem of Evil — Henry Imler @ 11:43 pm

briefly looked at my search log today. At the very top was this gem:

do Calvinists love damnation?

They were brought to the post about Travis’s comment about Calvinism and Prayer. I don’t think that they revel in the damnation of those that God did not happen to elect. However, I do wonder if they think that the damnation of sinners by God is a glory to God and therefore a act that is worth praise. If so, I think that they would focus on the justice of God and not in the punishment of the sinner. With that said, justice and the execution of justice are linked and reveling in the one translates into the reveling of the other. Must Calvinists rejoice at sinners in hell? I don’t know. I have never thought of that before.
